IT HELPDESK TEAM (M/F/D)

Moventum S.C.A. is lead player in the field of fund distribution, asset management and fund services. We serve financial advisors based practically worldwide, and our goal is to help them achieve top quality performance for their own clients, who are retail and institutional investors. We offer a trading platform, comprehensive middle and back-office support, transfer agency and asset management services, all of which is provided by highly experienced and dedicated staff in our Luxembourg, Frankfurt, Vienna, Warsaw and Brno offices.

 

We now seek to fill a full-time permanent position of:

IT HELPDESK TEAM (M/F/D)

 

Team Role

The IT Helpdesk is part of the IT Department. They are responsible for providing technical support and assistance to both internal and external clients.

 

IT HELPDESK

 

  • 1st level support for our local team in Luxemburg and remotely 2 others offices in Europe
  • 2nd level support for our external clients regarding technical issues, platform related questions or other service requests
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve system errors and other issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware
  • Administrate our various platforms, including creating, maintaining and cancelling client accesses (Pools, FAs, etc.)
  • Determine the best solution based on the request and details provided by our clients
  • Follow-up and update client status and information
  • Forward unresolved issues to the next level of support
  • Document activities, issues and their resolution in our task management system
  • Pass on any feedback or suggestions by clients to the appropriate internal team, identify and suggest possible improvements on procedures
  • Help update training manuals for new and revised software and hardware and train junior staff members

 

YOUR PROFILE

 

  • Previous working experience as IT Helpdesk for 2 years
  • Bachelor in IT, Computer Science or similar relevant field
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant software, hardware and other equipment
  • Hands on experience with diagnosing and resolving technical issues
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Customer-oriented and empathic mindset
  • Problem solving and result oriented attitude, curious to learn and ability work in a fast moving environment
  • Fluency in German and English.  French would be an advantage

FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT (M/F/D)

Moventum S.C.A. is a Luxembourg based company offering fund distribution, asset management, transfer agency and fund services.  Our clients are international financial advisors; our goal is to help them achieve top quality performance for their own clients, who are retail and institutional investors.  We offer a trading platform, product research and comprehensive Operations Middle- and Back-Office support, all of which is provided and supported by highly experienced and dedicated staff in our Luxembourg, Brno, Frankfurt, Vienna and Warsaw offices.

We are now looking for an enthusiastic new colleague to join our Luxembourg based Finance team as

FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT (M/F/D)

Reporting to the Manager Financial Accounting duties attached to the Financial Accountant role include without being limited to:

  • Assist accounting team with daily tasks and periodic account closing processes
  • General financial tasks of control of transactions and accounting bookings for the company
  • Assist with periodic reports for various internal and external stakeholders
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts and highlight unusual or unexplained items
  • Assist with provision of data and documentation to external and internal auditors including to maintain regular contact with audit teams so that their requirements are clear and can be met in a timely manner
  • Assist with monthly/ quarterly VAT submissions and reporting in Luxembourg and other countries
  • Help identify improvement opportunities in daily processes
  • Review and report to CFO accounts receivables and liabilities
  • Assist with the preparation of data needed for the purposes of financial consolidation according to the Group procedures and calendar
  • Cooperate with the Manager Financial Accounting in the processes consolidation and group audits
  • Coordinate issues requiring IT support e.g. queries/ system upgrades/ new projects etc.
  • Assist with periodic financial forecasts and annual budgets
  • Respond to ad hoc financial reporting requests

Role requirements

  • Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience in accounting – experience in financial sector is an advantage
  • University degree or equivalent in accounting or finance
  • Hands-on experience in accounting and VAT
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; Olympic and Bob 50 system knowledge is an advantage
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to work in a fast-moving environment
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal in English and ideally in French; Polish and/ or German is an advantage

CHIEF INFORMATION SECURITY OFFICER (M/F/D) CISO

Your role is to ensure that appropriate controls are in place to protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of Moventum’s information and its systems, in line with the applicable rulings of the various supervisory bodies by which it is regulated, the laws of the jurisdictions within it is active as well as its internal rules.

Reporting to the IT Director duties attached to the CISO role include without being limited to:

  • Maintain and update Moventum’s IT Security risk framework to ensure compliance with applicable regulations
  • Assess and identify security requirements and formalize into policies, procedures and guidelines; ensure the application of security measures and their effectiveness
  • Provide a general and ongoing overview of the risks related to IT Security to which Moventum is or could be exposed and provide recommendations on the acceptable IT security risk levels to be implemented in line with Momentum’s risk regulations
  • Promote a culture of risk awareness, provide trainings on IT Security, review and share best market practise
  • Closely collaborate with the IT Department to ensure that IT Security recommendations are implemented on time and are operating effectively, incl. follow up the execution of independent security assessments
  • Prepare incident/ accident reports for Board of Directors and applicable regulators, focusing on establishment of preventive measures, response planning and investigation of security alerts
  • Reply to IT security related inquiries, questionnaires, reports and dashboards from Board of Directors and the regulators (CSSF, BCL)
  • Implement and manage regular IT Security controls, incl. monitoring of security indicators and reporting, update of dashboards
  • Implement the Security governance, making sure all security initiatives run smoothly and accurately
  • Establish the right security and governance practices and enable a framework for risk-free and scalable business operations
  • Evaluate IT threat landscape, devise policy and controls to reduce risks and lead auditing and compliance initiatives

You will bring:

  • You have a university degree, 5+ years of experience in IT Security Management, monitoring and reporting, preferably within a financial institution or Custody Services, Fund or Asset Management firms
  • Strong understanding of CSSF/EBA regulations related to ICT & Security Risk, Outsourcing and Data Protection; in depth knowledge of IT Security standards (ISO 27001) and risk management principles
  • Strong communication skills, incl. the ability to challenge IT Team and to speak to various stakeholders
  • Certified CISSP/ CISM a major plus
  • Organized, autonomous, collaborative and open to support IT Team on specific IT Security issues when required
  • Fluent in English, good command in German and/ or French are a plus

SALES DIRECTOR – GERMANY (M/F/D) 

to be based in Germany.

 

What will you do?

 

The work of the Sales team (‘Sales’) focusses on the promotion and sale of Moventum’s services to appropriate clients and the maintenance of the relationship with those clients once acquired, so as to increase and maintain the Company’s revenues whilst ensuring optimum client service levels. As Sales Director for Germany, you will be an additional member of the team concentrating these efforts throughout that country.

 

The basic tasks to be fulfilled include without being limited to:

 

  • Report directly to Executive Management;
  • develop and execute strategic plan to achieve annual sales targets and expand Moventum’s customer base;
  • Build and maintain strong and long-lasting customer relationships, understand customer’s needs and objectives;
  • Properly communicate Moventum’s value proposition through proposals and presentations;
  • Understand competitive landscape and relevant market trends

 

Who are you?

 

A proven high performer with minimum 5 years’ experience at a similar level in the financial sector, either in sales or as a financial advisor, you:

 

  • have a mother tongue level German speaker with a good working knowledge of English
  • have proven sales executive experience, meeting or exceeding targets
  • are a self-starter with proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
  • know your target market and can adapt your sales style to suit
  • have excellent follow up skills and realize the importance of client contact, especially in the analysis of volumes of business acquired and lost
  • are familiar with tight sales controlling and reporting regime
  • have excellent listening, negotiating and presentation skills
